Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: MSM VIDEO at 3.2 against VideoPasal's 2.6. On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. VideoPasal sells 7 one-off in-app purchases and MSM VIDEO sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
MSM VIDEO holds the better App Store score, 3.2 against 2.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 73 and 62 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of VideoPasal's written reviews are positive against 27% of MSM VIDEO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
VideoPasal ships an update every 5 weeks, MSM VIDEO every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
