Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: 3 at 59% against Aiwit's 10%. 3 also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). Aiwit's advantage is rating (4.2 vs 3.3) and ratings volume (699 vs 72). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Aiwit sells 28 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and 3 sells 15 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Aiwit holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aiwit has 699 ratings behind it against 72, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 10% of Aiwit's written reviews are positive against 59% of 3's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Aiwit ships an update monthly, 3 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
