Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: AJCloud at 4.6 against Hunting Camera 4K's 2.3. AJCloud also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 7 months) and ratings volume (7.2K vs 16). Hunting Camera 4K's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

AJCloud holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: AJCloud has 7.2K ratings behind it against 16, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of AJCloud's written reviews are positive against 29% of Hunting Camera 4K's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
AJCloud ships an update every 2 weeks, Hunting Camera 4K every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 25, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
