Medito is a quiet space for your day — designed for people who want meditation to feel like a soft place, not another habit tracker. THREE MODES, ONE BREATH Choose Breathe to settle your nervous system, Meditate to sit with awareness, or Sleep to wind down. Each mode is guided by a living orb that gently expands and softens with your breath, paired with subtle haptics and a phase-locked breath cue you can feel as much as hear. HAND-PICKED AMBIENT SOUNDSCAPES Layer in rain on a window, ocean at low tide, a forest at dawn, a flowing stream, a crackling fireplace, or crickets at dusk. All recordings loop seamlessly with a soft cross-fade. Explore the Sound Lab to preview and mix. MINDFUL PHONE — NEW Meditate your phone, not just your mind. Mindful Phone is the fourth orb on Home. • A calm home screen of words — launcher widgets with only the apps you choose, a clock and a plain wallpaper • A pause before the apps that pull you in, with a slow breath before you go on — and on iOS 26.4 or later, a moment to say why now and how long you need • Pause all day or on a schedule, go strict when it matters, or let your iPhone's Sleep or Work Focus switch it on • Describe your goal in words and get a plan, using on-device Apple Intelligence where available • Insights that compare today with a usual day: pickups, your hardest hours and the time your pauses won back Screen Time data is worked out on your iPhone and never leaves it. Mindful Phone needs Screen Time access. ACROSS YOUR APPLE DEVICES • Apple Watch companion — start a session straight from your wrist with haptic-only breath cues • Widgets — your streak, total minutes, and per-mode quick-start tiles right on your Home Screen and Lock Screen • Live Activities — see your remaining time on the Lock Screen and Dynamic Island while you sit • iCloud sync (Pro) — your streak, stats, and preferences follow you to every device, instantly • Awake Display — Medito gently keeps the screen on during a session so the orb stays with you GENTLE PROGRESS, NEVER PRESSURE • Track your streak, total minutes, and total sessions • Log a one-tap mood after each session and watch patterns emerge over time • Set a soft daily reminder at the time that suits you — it nudges, it doesn't nag • Open Health to write your mindful minutes back to Apple Health automatically MEDITO PRO • Every session length — up to 15 minutes to breathe, 30 to meditate and 45 to sleep • The full ambient sound library • iCloud sync of your streak, stats and preferences Choose yearly or monthly, both with a 2-week free trial for new subscribers, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Subscriptions can be shared with your family through Family Sharing. The free tier always includes Breathe, Meditate and Sleep at core lengths, your streak and stats, widgets, Live Activities, the Apple Watch app, Apple Health and two ambient sounds. No ads, ever. MEDITO + MINDFUL PHONE Everything in Medito Pro, plus Mindful Phone. Yearly or every 3 months, both with a 2-week free trial for new subscribers, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Moving up from a Medito Pro subscription replaces it, so you're never billed for both. Own Medito Pro Lifetime? Add Mindful Phone for life on its own. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period; manage them in your App Store account settings. PRIVATE BY DESIGN • No account, no sign-up, no email • No analytics, no advertising, no third-party trackers • Your stats live on your device and in your private iCloud — never on our servers, because we don't run servers • HealthKit data is read and written only with your explicit permission and never leaves Apple's protected store DURATIONS THAT FIT YOUR LIFE From a one-minute reset before a meeting to a forty-five-minute wind-down on a slow Sunday evening, Medito meets you where you are. Open it. Breathe once. See how you feel. Terms of Use: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

Verdict
The clearest difference is in-app purchases: UCLA Mindful at none against Medito's 3. UCLA Mindful also leads on ratings volume (176 vs 4) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). Medito's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 3 months) and rating (4.8 vs 4.5). On price, ads and device support there is nothing between them.
