Are you a FTM feeling overwhelmed? We've prioritized the most important topics to get you started. Given birth before but wishing things had gone better last time? You're not alone. Go deep on whichever topics concern you most. Less anxiety. A better birth experience. SoShe can help. * * * Why I built the SoShe app: I learned after my first birth that I should have been better prepared. (And yes, I used all the pregnancy tracking apps.) Now I'm a mom of three, and I WISH I knew then what I know NOW. Absolutely! It's fun to know that your baby is the size of a clementine, or a kumquat. Other apps do that really well. But do you know how to push (and how not to push)? How to reduce the risk of tearing, or an unplanned c-section? Do you know what speeds up labor even more than Pitocin? Or what to do if you're having back labor? Do you know which natural methods are shown to get labor started, which don't actually work, and which to be really careful of? Did you know that you don't have to deliver while lying on your back, and that this might not be the best option anyway? I didn't know any of this. And I really wish I had. SoShe is to get really prepared for birth. Better information. Less fear. More confidence. Better care. Better outcomes for your and your baby. SoShe is evidence-based and nonjudgemental. No topic is taboo or TMI. Let's get real. Really prepared. Really supported. #SoSheCanThrive

Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: The Birthing Class at none against SoShe's shown. The Birthing Class also leads on update cadence (every 10 days vs every 6 weeks) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). SoShe's advantage is monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs paid) and ratings volume (30 vs 6). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.
