About

Lights Out Boxing Timer

Lights Out Boxing and Fitness Timer is an app designed by a developer who actually boxes. When you're working the heavy bag, jumping rope, or blasting out a HIIT routine you want to look over at a timer and know immediately what it’s trying to tell you. Keep it simple and easy to read while sweating! That’s our goal for this app. We want you focused on your workout. In boxing gym use for over a year while in development, Lights Out is a serious training tool that instantly impresses and makes no excuses. Featuring a vibrant and easy-to-read interface, this app can be applied to martial arts fight rounds and High Intensity Interval Training workouts with ease. Features include: No ads, membership fees, in-app purchases, or data collection Color-coded workout/fight phases Simple user interface Round start/end bells Option to have boxing combinations called out Fully customizable time settings Up to 7 custom workout presets Save workouts to Apple Health on iPhone Works in portrait and landscape modes Works in light and dark modes Allow app to run in background Workouts include the following customizable phases: Workout Time (general warmup/gym routine) Preparation Time (hand wrapping, gloves, etc.) Round Time (fighting or high intensity phase) Rest Time (between round rest or low intensity phase) Workout Time (general cool down/gym routine) Any workout phase can be eliminated simply by setting its time to zero. Save your favorite configurations to a preset slot for easy loading of your next workout. The option to call out boxing combinations is useful for those who want to push themselves with an unpredictable series of combinations. The combo system will include some of the most popular combinations and toss in some unique ones as well. This system gives a totally new workout every time you use it. This app uses the standard numbering system for hits: 1 = Jab 2 = Cross 3 = Lead Hook 4 = Rear Hook 5 = Lead Uppercut 6 = Rear Uppercut EXERCISE WARNING: Check with your doctor before starting any workout routine. Also, get advice from a certified trainer on protective equipment and proper technique to prevent injury. Never do any sparring without head protection and supervision by a trainer certified for your sport. This app cannot replace the advice given by medical or training professionals. In the event of error or failure in the device or this app, a timer may not present an accurate time count. Do not rely on this app to prevent overexertion, repetitive stress, or any other adverse effects. NOTE: Calorie burn is based on rough estimates for 150 lbs. body weight in general activity categories. Saving workouts to Apple Health is only available on iPhone.
