Vinyls turns your Apple Music library into spinning vinyl records. Watch the tone arm drop onto the groove and follow the song as it plays. On iPhone and iPad, drag the disc to scrub through a track, just like spinning a real record. THE FEELING OF VINYL There's a reason vinyl never went away. The ritual of choosing a record. The artwork at full size. The moment the needle drops. Vinyls brings that ritual to your Apple Music library: the tone arm tracking across the record in real time, your album art pressed onto the disc, your cover displayed full-size in its sleeve. Not a tiny thumbnail. The complete cover, alive with color and detail. THE VINYL RECORD YOU CAN TOUCH Swipe up from the vinyl to browse your full library. Swipe down to dismiss. On iPhone and iPad, drag the disc to scrub through a playing track, and add a scratch sound with Vinyls Platinum. Your music, made physical. A LIVING RECORD Albums you haven't played in a month gather cobwebs on the sleeve, just like a forgotten record in a crate. Tap the sleeve, or shake your iPhone, to clear them and spin the record again. MAKE IT YOURS With Vinyls Platinum, your music can look like yours. Choose from 12 accent colors or pick a custom shade. On iPhone and iPad, pick from five alternative app icons. Set light or dark appearance, with an optional high contrast background. Turn on vibrant backgrounds and the colors from your album art wash behind the vinyl and into the player controls, and across the library on iPad and Mac. The player shifts with every record you play. Add vinyl crackle while your music plays, for the sound of a record on a real turntable. ON IPHONE, IPAD AND MAC iPhone: Full-screen player with gesture controls. iPad: Sidebar, library and player side by side when space allows. Mac: Native app with keyboard shortcuts for play, pause, skipping tracks and browsing your library. Widgets: Now Playing artwork on your Home Screen and Mac desktop. AirPlay: Pick any compatible speaker from the AirPlay menu. VINYLS PLATINUM Download free, connect Apple Music, and your library is ready to spin. Vinyls Platinum unlocks accent colors, appearance and background options, alternative app icons on iPhone and iPad, crackle and scratch sounds, and more ways to style the player. Available as a monthly or yearly subscription, or a one-time lifetime purchase. Put the needle on the record. Requires an active Apple Music subscription for playback. Vinyls is built exclusively for the Apple Music ecosystem and does not support Spotify or other streaming services.
