Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Structured at 167K against Avocation's 934. Structured also leads on chart position (#91 vs unranked) and device support (4 vs 2). Avocation's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

CostPrice · In-app purchases · Ads · Monetization

Both are free to download. Avocation sells 10 one-off in-app purchases and Structured sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Structured holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Structured has 167K ratings behind it against 934, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Avocation's written reviews are positive against 78% of Structured's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Avocation ships an update fortnightly, Structured every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 8, 2026 and September 27, 2026 respectively.
