Daylogue is a digital journal for self-understanding. Put your days into words. Look back at what happened, how you felt, and what has changed. Choose whether AI helps you reflect. YOUR JOURNAL. YOUR WORDS. Write a few lines about today, start with a reflection prompt, or log a quick mood check-in. Revisit a good afternoon, a difficult conversation, or an ordinary day you want to remember. Come back whenever you want. There are no streaks to keep. CHECK IN YOUR WAY • Write freely or use reflection prompts • Log mood, energy, stress, and sleep • Add photos or video • Organize entries with tags • Search and revisit your journal history • Review the moods you recorded over time WITH OR WITHOUT AI On supported accounts, No AI Mode lets you keep writing, using prompts, and reviewing your recorded moods without sending new content to Daylogue's AI or voice services. If you separately turn on rules-based patterns, you can also see trends and recurring tags from the information you log. With AI enabled, eligible synced entries can become short narratives and recurring themes: a person you keep mentioning, a topic you return to, or a change across your entries. Daylogue reads your life back to you. Optional conversational voice check-ins use voice credits. PRIVACY AND AI With AI enabled, Daylogue processes eligible synced entries to create narratives and surface patterns. Synced entries are server-readable and are not end-to-end encrypted. Data is protected in transit with TLS, and ordinary account access is restricted with per-user database controls. These controls reduce risk; they do not guarantee that unauthorized access is impossible, and authorized service, support, security, and legal-process paths remain possible. Daylogue does not sell personal data or use personal entries to train its own models. AI, voice, hosting, messaging, and other disclosed service providers process data to operate requested features according to the current service configuration, written terms, and subprocessor disclosures. On supported accounts and platforms, No AI Mode prevents newly submitted content from being sent to Daylogue's AI and voice services. Entries still sync to Daylogue, and No AI Mode is not local-only or end-to-end encrypted. When you choose to connect Apple Health on a supported Apple surface, Daylogue imports eligible records as context. Daylogue does not measure sleep, calculate readiness or recovery, infer emotion from physiology, or predict performance. It does not infer emotion from your face or the tone of your voice. It works from the words and structured information you choose to share. A read is an observation for reflection, not a diagnosis, personality verdict, readiness score, prediction, or statement that one thing caused another. Daylogue is not therapy, medical care, a medical device, or an emergency or crisis-monitoring service. Automated resources may be shown when covered crisis language is identified, but the system can miss content, respond when resources are not needed, or fail because of product, network, classification, or delivery errors. Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: Daylogue at 100% against Hyperice's 34%. Daylogue also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.9) and update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Hyperice's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 7) and ratings volume (1.1K vs 23). On price, ads and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Daylogue sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Hyperice asks for nothing beyond the download.
Daylogue holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Hyperice has 1.1K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 34% of Hyperice's written reviews are positive against 100% of Daylogue's.
Hyperice ships an update every 3 weeks, Daylogue weekly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
