Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: BelPres at none against Ridwell's shown. BelPres also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Ridwell's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 12 months) and ratings volume (8.2K vs 12). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for BelPres against 4.9 for Ridwell. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Ridwell has 8.2K ratings behind it against 12, so its average is the more settled of the two.
BelPres ships an update every 12 months, Ridwell every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
