Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Goettl at 3.3 against LVVWD's 2.2. Goettl also leads on iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.0). LVVWD's advantage is ratings volume (76 vs 11). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Goettl holds the better App Store score, 3.3 against 2.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LVVWD has 76 ratings behind it against 11, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 3% of LVVWD's written reviews are positive against 0% of Goettl's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
LVVWD ships an update every 2 weeks, Goettl fortnightly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
