Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Havells DigiTap holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Havells DigiTap has 1.3K ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Havells DigiTap's written reviews are positive against 71% of Atomberg Home's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Havells DigiTap ships an update every 8 months, Atomberg Home every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
