WordsLens turns photos of everyday text into clear, useful, and searchable information. Scan a document, nutrition label, medication package, receipt, card, sign, brochure, or book page. WordsLens recognizes the text, organizes it, and—when supported—presents the most important details in an easy-to-read summary. Understand everyday labels Nutrition Facts panels become structured summaries showing serving size, nutrients, amounts, and Daily Values. WordsLens can also call attention to allergen and MSG-related ingredient mentions, product origin, and expiration dates. For supported medication labels, WordsLens can recognize medication names and NDC codes and optionally retrieve information from U.S. government sources, including medication type and official-label uses. Organize what you scan Save recognized text and original images together, then search your entire library whenever you need them. Documents can be organized into Nutrition, Medicine, Cards, Receipts, and custom collections. You can also: • Scan multipage documents • Import images and text through the Share Sheet • Correct image perspective before recognition • Merge related pages into one document • Edit, copy, and share recognized text • Mark important documents as favorites • Recover recently deleted items from Trash • Listen to nutrition and medication summaries Protect sensitive information WordsLens can recognize and organize details from payment, identification, and membership cards. Sensitive card information can be concealed and protected with Face ID or Touch ID. Please note: Text recognition and automatic summaries may contain errors.
