Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: WindHub at 4.2 against RiverFlows's 1.0. WindHub also leads on ratings volume (253 vs 1) and chart position (#45 vs unranked). RiverFlows's advantage is update cadence (every 3 days vs monthly). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

WindHub holds the better App Store score, 4.2 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WindHub has 253 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
WindHub ships an update monthly, RiverFlows every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
