Use the Reach Demo App to try out the Reach℠ remote support tool for IoT products. Reach℠ makes it possible to connect you to all of your customers’ devices in the field that uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and initiate a support session to diagnose and troubleshoot issues with your products even if they cannot connect to the cloud. This is a demo of the Reach℠ product, visit cygnustechnology.com for more information or to discuss how to implement Reach into your IoT products and applications. Can you imagine the following scenario? A customer has purchased your product, and now they need help fixing an issue. They call you at your support center, you instruct them to open your product’s mobile app and press the “Enable Remote Support” button. By pressing the button, the user authorizes access to their physical Bluetooth-enabled device. Upon receiving access, you are now seeing real-time device data and can troubleshoot with ease by reading logs, reconfiguring the device, updating firmware and much more. You and your team can now diagnose and fix the device without leading your customers through a long series of complicated instructions. The result is a great experience for you and the user that saves time increases satisfaction and leads to higher ratings for your product and mobile app! Reach℠ is also great for developers of BLE devices to make it easy to field test and beta test with ease while debugging remotely. Reach℠ is free for developers. Key features: - Scan and discover Bluetooth devices in the nearby area - See basic device info (UUID, RSSI) - Browse services and characteristics - Read values from characteristics - Write to characteristics in Hex, Oct, Bin, Decimal or ASCII - Send a secure PIN to connect to your admin portal as a support agent - Automatic reconnections - Works with any BLE product Requirements: - Must have a Cygnus Reach account to use remote support features

Scan for nearby Bluetooth Low Energy peripherals and explore their services, characteristics, and device information. Built for firmware and hardware engineers who need to read, write, and verify GATT values quickly. Subscription required. Write and read any characteristic Write/Read characteristic values as strings, decimal numbers, or hex. With byte-order (big-endian / little-endian) and signed / unsigned interpretation for integer values. Hex entry that formats into byte pairs as you type without losing your cursor position. Read values from any characteristic, including custom and non-standard ones specific to your device. Subscribe to notifications and indications per characteristic and watch asynchronous updates arrive live. Built for repeat testing Write history is retained per device, per service, and per characteristic: twenty devices running identical firmware each keep their own characteristic write log and also has write history for matching Service + Characteristic / identical devices. Every write is timestamped and marked with its outcome, so you can see at a glance which values the peripheral accepted and which it rejected. Tap any past value to resend it instantly. Write to every connected device that exposes the same characteristic in a single action. See what the device actually is Service, characteristic, and descriptor names resolved from the Bluetooth SIG assigned numbers. Manufacturer resolved from the SIG company identifier in the advertising packet. Model number, serial number, and firmware, hardware, and software revisions read from the Device Information Service. Real-time signal strength and advertising details for every nearby device, with proximity and unknown-device filters. Console Log Live console with detailed, timestamped events for every connection, read, write, and notification. Filter the console by device, characteristic, UUID, or value to find one event among thousands. Full-screen console on iPhone. Export console output to a .txt file to attach to a bug report or share with your team. Terms of Use (EULA): https://keois.com/products/luminaset/terms-of-use.html Privacy Policy: https://keois.com/products/luminaset/privacy-policy.html Who this is for LuminaSet Bluetooth Utility is used by embedded firmware developers bringing up new hardware, QA and production-test teams verifying units before they ship, field engineers diagnosing deployed devices, and instructors teaching Bluetooth Low Energy. If you write firmware that exposes a GATT service, this is the tool for confirming it behaves the way you intended — before you write a companion app. Moving from prototype to production When you go from one board on a bench to a batch on a line, keeping track of which unit received what becomes the hard part. Write history is scoped to the individual device rather than to the characteristic UUID, so identical units never share a log, and each entry records the time and whether the peripheral acknowledged it. Devices that publish a serial number over the Device Information Service are identified by that serial. Broadcast writes let you push the same provisioning value to every connected unit that supports it in one action. Supported devices Works with any Bluetooth Low Energy peripheral, including development kits and modules from Nordic Semiconductor, Espressif, Texas Instruments, Silicon Labs, and STMicroelectronics, as well as commercial sensors, beacons, wearables, and industrial equipment. Requires Bluetooth LE hardware; classic Bluetooth and Wi-Fi devices are outside the scope of Core Bluetooth and will not appear.
