Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: DealBites at 100% against Franki's 52%. DealBites also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and update cadence (daily vs every 2 weeks). Franki's advantage is ratings volume (2.1K vs 9) and chart position (#162 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
DealBites holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Franki has 2.1K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 52% of Franki's written reviews are positive against 100% of DealBites's.
Franki ships an update every 2 weeks, DealBites daily. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
