Verdict
The clearest difference is monetization model: Flowtrac at free against WellReceived's subscription. Flowtrac also leads on review sentiment (67% vs 33%). WellReceived's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (287 vs 7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
WellReceived holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: WellReceived has 287 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of WellReceived's written reviews are positive against 67% of Flowtrac's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
WellReceived ships an update every 2 weeks, Flowtrac every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on September 9, 2026 and August 8, 2026 respectively.
