Your Obsidian tasks on your Home Screen: a to-do list, widgets, reminders, kanban and a calendar, read from the Markdown files in your vault. Every edit goes back to the original file. No account and nothing to import: pick your vault or any folder of Markdown files. Start free, and try Premium with a 7-day free trial on the monthly plan. "After trying many apps and workflows, this is the first one that actually stuck and made me productive!" From an App Store review. Works with your vault Reads and writes Obsidian Tasks emoji fields, Dataview fields, Task Genius, and TaskNotes YAML frontmatter, with your own field mapping. Checkbox tasks inside any note and one-file-per-task notes both work. Home Screen widgets Today, overdue, a tag, a saved filter or any section of a space, small to large on iPhone and up to extra large on iPad and Mac. Check a task off without opening the app. Month widgets page forward and back. Reminders that reach you Notifications for due and scheduled work, several reminders on one task, and a daily summary. New in 3.1 on iPhone: mark a task persistent and its alerts break through Focus until you finish it. Your calendar beside your tasks Device calendars, including iCloud, Google and Exchange calendars set up on your device, show in the month, week and day views, in spaces and in widgets. New in 3.1, in beta: connect a Google or Outlook account to see and edit its events, calendars shared with you and your invitations. A note for every meeting New in 3.1. Every calendar event gets a note. Recurring meetings share one thread, and open action items carry forward to the next one. Notes and daily notes Open, read and edit any note in your vault, next to the tasks inside it. Your vault gets a daily note, one tap from search or the calendar. Type /today or /date to insert a date. Note editing is in beta. Lists, kanban and search Spaces that stack task and event sections. Filtered lists, a kanban board with drag and drop, tags, contexts, projects, priorities, subtasks, recurring tasks, and start, scheduled and due dates. New in 3.1: your own properties, like client or area, to filter, sort, group and build boards by. Search across the whole vault. Archive completed tasks instead of deleting them. Quick add Type a task the way you would say it, like "call Sam tomorrow 9am #work", and TaskForge fills in the date, time and tag. Optional tools for your AI agent Use your own AI agent to turn meeting notes into tasks or update your task list. TaskForge generates a guide to your folder's format. The free taskforge desktop CLI and local MCP server, installed separately on your computer, give compatible agents tools to read and edit tasks and notes. These tools run locally without network access. They do not include an AI assistant or subscription. Your chosen AI provider's account requirements and data handling still apply. Privacy No account. No tracking. No ads. Tasks and notes work offline. TaskForge does not upload your task or note files to its own servers. External sync and AI services handle data under their own terms. TaskForge Premium Free: the to-do list, kanban, search and filters, notes and daily notes, quick add, viewing your device calendars, the daily note widget, two themes, and the taskforge CLI and MCP server. Premium adds task and calendar widgets, notifications and reminders, connecting Google and Outlook accounts, creating and editing events, meeting notes, custom properties, your own spaces and lists, task defaults, 11 more themes and your own, the app font, and editing many tasks at once. Buy it once and keep it, or subscribe monthly with a 7-day free trial. A monthly subscription renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage it in your Apple ID settings.
