Out on the water you see whether the wind is holding – and when it's time to head back to shore. In the evening you know what the session was. GoKiteAgent is built for kiters and wingfoilers: on Lake Thun, tested on the water, not at a desk. ON THE WATER – APPLE WATCH • Live wind, gusts and direction from two stations, plus water temperature • Heart-rate zone and your speed during the session • Watch face complication: kite tip for Lake Thun with time window and water temperature, at other spots water and air temperature • Recording with GPS, heart rate and motion – Water Lock on, nothing is lost even without reception AFTERWARDS – IPHONE • All sessions at a glance: records, hours, kilometres, calories • Map with your route coloured by speed, top speed with heading and wind at that moment • Calories, share of fat and carbohydrates, heart-rate zones • Every session as a workout in Apple Health FREE – TO TRY OUT, AND FOREVER • Wind, gusts, direction and water temperature on your wrist • Unlimited recording on Apple Watch • Map with route and speed, top speed with heading and wind • Heart rate, heart-rate zones, workout in Apple Health • Three complete sessions on your iPhone – delete one and the next moves up FULL VERSION – ONE-TIME PURCHASE, NO SUBSCRIPTION • Every jump, every jibe detected automatically – with height, approach and landing point on the map • Effort in Apple Health – see in the Fitness app how high your training load is and when you're ready for the water again • All sessions, including past ones – everything is always saved • For tinkerers: raw data, your own jump-detection parameters, export and backup Jump height is an estimate and still in beta. Jump and jibe detection gets better with every update – all updates are included in the purchase, there are no further costs. WIND STATIONS The stations come from gokite.ch, the wind service for Lake Thun and selected trade-wind spots, and are being expanded continuously. GOOD TO KNOW • Recording requires an Apple Watch. • The Watch shows the wind on the water when it has reception: with Apple Watch Cellular or with your iPhone in range. • Weather stations stand on the shore, not on the water – accuracy not guaranteed. Jump heights are estimates. PRIVACY No account, no sessions sent anywhere. Everything stays on your Watch, iPhone and in Apple Health. The only outside connection is reading wind data from gokite.ch – with nothing about you.
