Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: iBorrow at 100% against MeterToken's 25%. iBorrow also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs ad-supported). MeterToken's advantage is ratings volume (124 vs 1) and rating (4.3 vs 4.0). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
MeterToken holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MeterToken has 124 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of iBorrow's written reviews are positive against 25% of MeterToken's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
iBorrow ships an update every 5 weeks, MeterToken monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
