Stop opening social media on autopilot. one sec adds a short pause before distracting apps so you can choose what deserves your attention. This principle works really well: we have gained scientific evidence in numerous research studies with the Max-Planck Institute, with the German and Danish government, and in dozens more scientific collaborations: one sec has incredible effects on your screen time: app usage drops by 57% on average! …just read our App Store reviews or try it for yourself if you don’t believe me (…you should really try it)! How is one sec different from Screen Time limits or app blockers? - one sec DELAYS access to distracting apps instead of blocking apps completely – that’s an important difference psychologically. - This way, we solve the screen time problem at its roots: long-term & sustainably! - one sec is always on, and makes using social media just slightly more annoying…so you’ll end up using it only when you actually have a reason! Which apps can I use with one sec? - You can set up one sec with any app you’d like to use less / more intentional. - Most popular use-cases are: social media, games, video streaming, dating, stock/coin trading, adult content. - Using one sec with one app of your choice is completely free, for more you’ll need to purchase one sec pro (we also need to finance development of our app!). What if I get stuck scrolling? - No worries, one sec offers a Doom Scroll Emergency Brake: We call it Re-Intervention. - After a set time (e.g. 5 minutes) you’ll be kicked out of social media, and you’ll have to go through an intervention again to unlock more time. Where can I learn more about the scientific background of one sec? → https://one-sec.app/research Can I use one sec to interrupt access to websites as well? → Yes, one sec offers a free Safari extension as well. How does one sec work technically? - one sec uses Shortcuts Automation to toggle a deep breath animation whenever you open one of the configured apps (Instagram, Twitter, YouTube…). - This breaks unconscious social media habits short-term (literally, as soon as you have set it up) and even helps long-term by adding more friction when opening these apps. Integrations: - Structured: one sec blocks apps during unfinished tasks. - LENGO: learn vocabulary to unlock social media. I developed one sec for myself in 2020…and it worked so well I decided to upload it to the App Store. Especially for people with ADHD one sec is a great tool to gain back control for incredible focus and concentration. – Frederik Legal information: Available Subscription Options: one sec pro (annual / monthly / lifetime unlock) one sec can contribute mindful moments to the Health App via HealthKit. one sec is covered by U.S. Patent 12,468,828 B2. The passports are in a drawer. A visa copy is somewhere in a chat thread. Your daughter's birth certificate is in a folder back home. And nobody knows which of them expires next. LegacySave puts them in one place and watches the dates for you. SCAN IT, AND IT FILLS ITSELF IN Hold the camera over a passport or an Emirates ID. The number, the name and the expiry date come off the page and into the form. Check them, save, done. A document with four pages stays one document. NOTHING EXPIRES WITHOUT WARNING Six months out, then three months, then one month, one week, and the day before. Add your own reminders for the errands no document knows about, like booking the medical or collecting a new card, and put a name on one so the person who has to do it is the person whose phone buzzes. THE COPY THE BANK ASKED FOR Choose the documents, choose the pages, and stamp FOR BANK USE ONLY across them before anything leaves your phone. Add your signature when a copy has to be self-attested. Send it as a PDF, a JPG or a PNG, and shrink it when the form on the other side has an upload limit. ASK, INSTEAD OF SEARCHING "When does my visa expire?" "Whose passport runs out first?" Type it the way you would say it. Ask how to do something and the app draws a ring around the button to press, then waits for you to press it. THE WHOLE FAMILY, IN ONE PLACE Invite your spouse, your parents, your children. Some can add documents, some can only look, and you decide which. Each document has a name on it: the person responsible, the person who added it, and anyone it is shared with are the people who get told before it expires. Ask a question in the app and it sits next to the document it is about. WHY YOU CAN TRUST US WITH THIS Files, document numbers and names are encrypted in storage. Documents are read on machines we run and are never handed to an outside AI service. Face ID locks the app, and locks it again when you put the phone down. A new phone cannot open your vault until you approve it, and you can cut off any device you no longer hold. Two-factor sign-in is there when you want a second lock. An expiry alert on your lock screen says a passport is expiring, never whose. Export any document whenever you want it back. Delete your account, and everything in it, from inside the app. WHAT FAMILIES KEEP IN HERE Passports, Emirates IDs, residence visas, driving licences, birth and marriage certificates, degree and school certificates, tenancy contracts, insurance policies, vehicle registration, PAN and Aadhaar cards, wills and property papers. If a type is missing, suggest it from inside the app. We read every suggestion, and the good ones turn up for everybody without waiting for an update. Built in Dubai, by someone who kept a family's papers in two countries and got tired of it. Free while we are in early access. Write to support@legacysave.space and a person answers. What's New (1.0) Welcome to LegacySave. Hold the camera over a passport or an Emirates ID and the details fill themselves in. Every expiry date turns into a countdown, and the reminder arrives six months, three months, one month, one week and one day before it. In this first release: - Reminders you set yourself, with a name on them, so the person who has to do the renewal is the one who gets told - Copies you can watermark for the bank or the landlord, with your signature on them when a copy has to be self-attested - A vault you can ask questions, and that will walk you through the app button by button - Family messages that sit next to the documents they are about - Face ID, device approval and two-factor sign-in Free while we are in early access.
