Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: HiseeuCloud at 80% against CamVigil's 31%. CamVigil's advantage is rating (4.6 vs 4.1) and ratings volume (571 vs 70). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. HiseeuCloud sells 24 in-app purchases, starting at $5.59 per month and CamVigil sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
CamVigil holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: CamVigil has 571 ratings behind it against 70, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of HiseeuCloud's written reviews are positive against 31% of CamVigil's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
HiseeuCloud ships an update every 5 weeks, CamVigil every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on October 17, 2026.
