Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Dolyame at weekly against Русские корни's every 2 months. Dolyame also leads on ratings volume (454 vs 25). Русские корни's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Русские корни holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dolyame has 454 ratings behind it against 25, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 53% of Русские корни's written reviews are positive against 60% of Dolyame's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Русские корни ships an update every 2 months, Dolyame weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 27, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
