The 6502 microprocessor changed the world. Released in the 1970’s, it was the reason that home computers were within the reach of many hobbyists. This app re-creates the 6502 CPU and some of the hardware that used it. This isn't a game (although games are included), this is an emulation of the 8-bit processor, complete with an assembler and some programming puzzles to solve. Start with the most basic user interface you can imagine - six 7-segment LEDs and some buttons - to enter, debug and run your applications. Then upgrade to a display and keyboard, and use the built-in monitor program to dump memory, makes edits and execute your code. Can you run BASIC? Maybe. FORTH? Perhaps. Assembler? Definitely! Don't think of this as a something "fun" or "enjoyable" in the traditional sense. Think of it as a puzzle: how on earth did those folks in the 1970's manage to do ANYTHING when computers were this basic? Documentation is provided, but to get the most of out of this app you'll need to do your own research. Just like in the 1970s. Features - KIM-1 keypad/LED mode simulator. - KIM-1 serial terminal mode simulator. - Apple 1 serial terminal mode simulator. - Multiple programs including Life, Mastermind, word games, Trek, and more. - Working 6502 Assembler with single-step, memory and register view. - A comprehensive 6502 tutorial system with interactive lessons and reference material. - Shareware! All features are always available without a purchase.

Blackjack Trainer

Learn and practice blackjack basic strategy — the mathematically optimal play for every hand you can be dealt. FOUR TRAINING MODES - Hint — the recommended move is shown as you play - Advise — the answer stays hidden until you ask for it - Warn — play freely, and get a second chance whenever you deviate - Test — call the play yourself, then find out whether you were right Or switch training off entirely and just play. THE FULL STRATEGY CHART, BUILT IN Hard totals, soft totals and pairs, with your current hand marked so you can see exactly where the recommendation comes from — the row for your total, the column for the dealer's up card, and the cell where they meet. Every recommendation comes from the basic strategy tables published by the Wizard of Odds, Michael Shackleford. SEE WHERE YOU ACTUALLY GO WRONG Every decision is compared against the correct play and recorded. The progress view paints your own record onto the strategy chart — the cells you have mastered, the cells you have never met, and which wrong move you keep making in each one. A sortable table gives you the same thing as numbers. PRACTICE THE TABLE YOU WILL ACTUALLY SIT AT Basic strategy is not one chart. It changes with the rules. Set the number of decks, whether the dealer hits or stands on soft 17, double after split, resplitting aces, hitting split aces, surrender, no hole card — and the strategy tables reload to match your settings. DESIGNED FOR PRACTICE - Customizable card design, so the table looks the way you want it - Assign any action to any gesture — tap, swipe, double tap or long press - Your hand is saved if you close the app mid-round No ads. No sign-up. No real money. Nothing to cash out. Just practice.
