The McMaster Premenstrual and Mood Symptom Scale (MAC‑PMSS) was developed using feedback from people who suffered from premenstrual and mood problems, as well as from international experts in the area of women’s mental health, to fill a major clinical gap: The absence of validated tools to assess and accurately diagnose individuals with concurrent mood and premenstrual issues. While the vast majority of the symptom tracking tools out there were never tested or validate through clinical research, the MAC-PMSS has been tested and validated as has been proven to be user-friendly and useful in the accurate diagnosis and assessment of people with premenstrual and mood disorders. The results of its field test can be found here: https://bmcwomenshealth.biomedcentral.com/track/pdf/10.1186/s12905-022-01678-1.pdf With the MAC-PMSS app, individuals can track their mood and premenstrual symptoms on a daily basis. The daily symptom tracking, along with information about the menstrual cycle, sleep patterns and possible stressful life events may be shared with your health professional with a simple click of a button! The MAC-PMSS application is not a substitute for physician’s advice. Consult a Physician for any medical issues that arise. From a privacy and safety perspective, this app does not collect any personal identifier, or any personal smartphone use information. Living with Premenstrual Dysphoric Disorder is not just bad PMS. It can feel like losing yourself for part of every month. For half of your cycle, you feel capable and steady. In the luteal phase, you may experience rage, hopelessness, intrusive thoughts, crying spells, severe anxiety, and crushing fatigue that does not feel like you. If you have ever questioned your relationships, your career, or your mental health because of cyclical mood changes, you are not alone. Pramidi is a dedicated PMDD tracker designed for people who live this pattern every month and need clarity, not guesswork. Track the symptoms people with PMDD actually live with: - Mood swings, irritability, anger outbursts, depression, panic - Suicidal thoughts, emotional numbness, sudden despair before your period - Brain fog, low motivation, poor focus, memory lapses - Bloating, breast tenderness, headaches, cramps, body pain - Insomnia, appetite shifts, sugar cravings, exhaustion - Social withdrawal, conflict, reduced work performance See your full menstrual cycle mapped clearly, from follicular phase stability to ovulation shifts to luteal phase decline. Identify early warning signs before symptoms peak. Review month-over-month patterns to understand whether you are dealing with PMDD, severe PMS, hormonal depression, or another mood disorder with cyclical features. Pramidi supports your entire journey: - Symptom tracking during diagnosis exploration - Structured data to support conversations with gynaecology or psychiatry - Monitoring SSRI response, hormonal birth control changes, supplements, and lifestyle adjustments - Comparing treatment effects across multiple cycles - Preparing reports for your doctor Instead of trying to remember how intense last month felt, you have clear evidence. Instead of doubting yourself, you see a consistent cycle-based symptom timing. Beyond tracking, Pramidi offers evidence-based education on PMDD, menstrual health, and luteal phase changes so you can understand what is happening in your body and brain. Whether you are newly diagnosed, self-identifying, postpartum, perimenopausal, or managing PMDD alongside anxiety or depression, the app adapts to your stage of life. Your privacy matters: - Encrypted storage - No health data selling - Optional biometric lock - Secure export controls Pramidi was built with input from the PMDD community and reproductive mental health specialists. It is designed to validate your experience and give you language, data, and structure across every cycle. Pramidi is for tracking and educational purposes only and does not diagnose or treat medical conditions. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional for medical advice.
