Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is rating: Starlink Satellite Tracker ISS at 4.0 against AeroADSB's 1.7. Starlink Satellite Tracker ISS also leads on ratings volume (178 vs 28) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). AeroADSB's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 5 months). On price, review sentiment, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Starlink Satellite Tracker ISS holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 1.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Starlink Satellite Tracker ISS has 178 ratings behind it against 28, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 3% of AeroADSB's written reviews are positive against 0% of Starlink Satellite Tracker ISS's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

AeroADSB ships an update every 2 months, Starlink Satellite Tracker ISS every 5 months. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
