Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Relay Weekend at daily against edikted's every 9 days. Relay Weekend also leads on monetization model (free vs ad-supported) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.4). edikted's advantage is ratings volume (15K vs 3) and chart position (#128 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Relay Weekend against 4.9 for edikted. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: edikted has 15K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
Relay Weekend ships an update daily, edikted every 9 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
