The Voltie app is the control centre for your Voltie EV charger, at home, in a residential building or at work. Start, stop and schedule charging from anywhere, follow your consumption and make the most of your solar panels, all in one simple interface. Voltie chargers are developed and manufactured in Hungary and use the European Type 2 connector. SMART CHARGING • Remote control: start or stop charging from your phone, at home or on the road. • Charging modes: automatic start when you plug in, scheduled, energy-based (kWh) and time-based charging, plus a battery-friendly mode. • Notifications: get notified about plug-in, scheduled starts and charger errors. SOLAR AND GRID • Solar charging: in Green mode you charge purely from your solar surplus; in Eco mode the grid tops up the rest. (Requires an external energy meter; Green mode is available in single-charger systems.) • Grid Control: a feature unique on the market. Even at high grid voltage your solar inverter keeps running, so your daily production isn't lost. • Dynamic load management: the charger only uses the capacity your home or building has free, phase by phase, so it never overloads the main fuse. (Requires an external energy meter.) FOR BUILDINGS AND BUSINESSES • Power sharing: any number of Voltie chargers share one supply, and power sharing keeps working on the local network even without internet. • RFID and user management: start charging with an RFID card or key fob, invite users and assign roles. • Prepaid RFID: give guests or staff kWh or time quotas that renew daily, weekly or monthly. STATISTICS • Track charged energy, time, distance, CO₂ savings and cost by day, week, month and year. • Receive your data in Excel by email. OPEN AND UP TO DATE • Open system: OCPP 1.6J, HTTP API and Modbus, with smart-home integrations including Home Assistant, Amazon Alexa and Google Home. • Regular over-the-air updates bring new features, so your charger stays current for years. • The app is available in 23 languages.
