About

Plus Five

Features

Plus Five is a lift log for people who want to get stronger without making a hobby out of tracking it. Build a workout once, or pick one of nine plans. At the gym, tap Start and tick off your sets. Hit every rep and Plus Five adds 5 lb for next time. Miss a few and it holds the weight until you're ready. That's the whole idea. IN THE WORKOUT • Last time's numbers are already filled in. Tick a set and the rest timer starts. • Warm-up sets worked out for you, and which plates go on each side of the bar. • Supersets, timed holds, bodyweight and assisted lifts all work the way you'd expect. • The rest timer sits on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Tick the next set without opening the app. GETTING STRONGER • +5 when you've earned it. When 5 lb jumps stop working for a lift, it switches to adding reps first. • Goals in sets you'd actually do: 225 × 5, not a one-rep max. With an honest guess at how long it'll take. • PRs called out as they happen, and a Momentum page for volume, muscle balance and how often you trained. 147 EXERCISES, NINE PLANS • Every exercise has its own 3D icon and three plain cues. Pick the lifter that looks like you. • Plans for a full gym, dumbbells only, or nothing at all: Full Body, Strength 5×5, Upper/Lower, Push Pull Legs and more. • Add your own exercises. YOURS • No account, no feed, no ads. Your lifts live in your own iCloud and sync between your devices. • Saves workouts to Apple Health, with heart rate from Apple Watch. • An Apple Watch app, Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets, and Siri. • Import your history from a CSV file, and export everything the same way whenever you like. Plus Five uses Apple Health only if you turn it on, and only to save your workouts and estimate the energy they burned.
