This is an unofficial app designed to help attendees discover and research the bands playing Maryland Deathfest 2027 and future editions—and make sure they get to the correct stage at the correct time. This app and its developer are NOT affiliated with Maryland Deathfest, its promoters, venues or participating bands. WHAT CAN THE APP DO? Browse the festival by band or view the complete schedule with performance times and locations. Research bands using: • Official websites and Bandcamp pages • Wikipedia • Metal Archives • YouTube Plan your festival: • Rate bands as Must See, Might See or Won’t See • Receive alerts before shows you want to attend—10 minutes before showtime by default, with a customizable alert time • Apply filters to personalize your band and schedule lists • Share your choices with fellow attendees • View reports showing how other app users are ranking the bands BUILT FOR FESTIVAL CONDITIONS The app is designed to work without an internet connection once the festival data has been downloaded to your device. This is not a web app. It is a native iOS app built specifically for iPhone and iPad. AVAILABLE IN MULTIPLE LANGUAGES The app supports multiple languages for Maryland Deathfest’s international audience. MORE THAN 10 YEARS OF DEVELOPMENT The app was originally created for the 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise in 2015. It has been refined, expanded and improved every year since then, and the platform has now been adapted for additional metal festivals, including Maryland Deathfest. OPEN SOURCE This app is part of the Open Metal Fest Suite, an open-source project providing free mobile apps and festival-management tools for metal festivals.
