For Users that may have difficulty pacing themself through some of their daily Hygienic tasks, such as brushing their teeth or washing their hands, Hygiene Helper provides paced videos to keep users engaged with every facet of a task for an appropriate amount of time. For Users that may have difficulty remembering all the different hygienic activities they need to do, such as remembering to floss, or specific parts of hygienic activities, such as remembering to brush your gums, Hygiene Helper gently reminds users of all facets of a task. Hygiene Helper not only displays all of ones needed Hygienic activities but allows users to make Day and Night playlists so every day, they can simply click on a playlist which ensures they are reminded to do every task. Playlists can be easily set and changed by the user. Playlists allows users to choose which Hygienic activities they need more guidance with, as well as allows users to set their own order to these activities, so as to allow Hygiene Helper to seamlessly integrate itself into existing routines, something which many users are very attached to, and familiar with. Current Hygienic routines include: Brushing your Teeth, Flossing, Taking a Shower, Applying Deodorant, Washing your Hands, Shaving with a Manual Razor, and Shaving with an Electric Razor These videos demonstrate and narrate a Hygienic task by breaking it into many smaller parts. This is an evolution from common step-by-step visual schedule charts and PECS used in ABA. The videos constantly show and narrate each step, and provide stimulation during each step.
