About

Altisenda

Features

Altisenda is a distraction-free altitude, trail, and POI companion built for road trips, overlanding, and camping adventures. REAL-TIME ALTITUDE AT A GLANCE See your current altitude from two independent sources — GPS and barometric — displayed in large, bright-green digits on a pure-black background. Designed to be readable from a phone mount while driving. A live altitude chart tracks your elevation profile over time, automatically pausing when you're parked. SAVE PLACES INSTANTLY — EVEN WHILE DRIVING Spot a scenic campsite, a road hazard, or a trailhead? Tap the floating Save button from any screen to drop a pin at your current location. The app names and addresses each place automatically using reverse geocoding — curate the details later when you have time. Works hands-free with Siri and Apple Shortcuts: create your own Siri Shortcut (for example, "Save Location") to instantly save your location while keeping your eyes on the road. RECORD & SHARE TRACKS Hit Start on the Altitude tab and Altisenda records a GPS breadcrumb trail on a satellite map. When you stop, save your track with an auto-generated title (e.g. "From Banff to Jasper · Jun 14, 2026"). Every track includes a route map, altitude profile chart, duration, and distance. Export any track as a standard GPX file to share with friends or import into Strava, Garmin, Komoot, Google Earth, and more. SHARE POIs EASILY Open any saved place in Apple Maps or Google Maps with one tap. Copy coordinates to share them however you like. KEY FEATURES • Dual altitude display (GPS + Barometric) in meters, feet, or both • Live altitude-over-time chart with smart parked detection • One-tap POI saving from any screen • Siri & Apple Shortcuts support for hands-free POI creation and track control • GPS trail recording on a hybrid satellite map • GPX export for tracks — compatible with all major apps • Open POIs in Apple Maps or Google Maps • Auto-generated track titles with reverse geocoding • Metric and imperial unit support • Screen stays awake while tracking PRIVATE & FREE No accounts. No sign-ups. No data ever leaves your device. No ads. No subscriptions. Just open the app and go.
