BHASVIC’s official app for students, giving access to the systems you will be using in your learning at college and keeping you in touch with the BHASVIC community, news and events. In the myBHASVIC app you can: • View your live timetable and your calendar entries, including assignment deadlines • Read your emails – it’s an important way that the college communicates with you • Open SharePoint and Teams, where your teacher will share messages and documents, and set assignments • Access your courses on BHASVLE, the virtual learning environment • View your attendance breakdown and statistics • Access your library account to keep track of your borrowing and reservations • View your print credit balance • Access the A-Z student guide • Get quick links to health and wellbeing and other useful information and contacts, including the Student Union and student-curated websites

SIGN-IN To access some of the above features you will need Internet connectivity and be asked to register for an account or sign in using Facebook or Twitter and give permission for storing your ID on our servers. ACCOUNT AND DATA DELETION To request deletion of your account and all associated data, go to the menu, tap SETTINGS, then EDIT MY ACCOUNT and tap the “Delete My Account” button. You will then receive an email at the address of your logged in account asking you to confirm your data deletion request. LOCATION SERVICES To enable Find-a-Friend to work, you will need to allow the app to access your Contacts as well as location when running in the background. BATTERY Continued use of location services running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. This App has been designed to minimise the impact on your battery life and in most cases will be unnoticeable, but results may vary based on network conditions and usage.
