The MÁVPlusz app is constantly improving, adding new features every month to reach full functionality in 2026. Key features and products currently available: Interurban Tickets: Train and bus tickets for MÁV, VOLÁN, HÉV, GYSEV, and other European railway companies with a renewed, lightning-fast purchase process. Passes and Daily Tickets: Easy management of the Hungary Pass, county passes, Hungary24, and County24 daily tickets. Local Transport: City daily tickets and passes in more than 60 cities across the country (e.g., BKK / Budapest Pass) – available under the "Passes" menu. International Travel: You can now plan journeys beyond borders and even buy tickets for trains with seating. Timetables for a total of 21 European countries are available for international travel. Other Tickets: TramTrain, Children's Railway, excursion tickets (e.g., HÉV, Lake Balaton, Bakony), and combined admission tickets – available under the "Passes" menu.
