Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Onic at 3.7 against My Transworld's 3.2. Onic also leads on ratings volume (78 vs 6). My Transworld's advantage is monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and review sentiment (50% vs 36%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Onic holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Onic has 78 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of My Transworld's written reviews are positive against 36% of Onic's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
My Transworld ships an update every 11 days, Onic monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
