"EEG Waves" is a system designed to conduct sessions during which data on the user's emotional activity (states of emotional relaxation and concentration of attention) are recorded. Based on the obtained data, a graph of the dynamics of changes in wave activity, emotional state and a circular diagram of rhythms is plotted. The application provides the ability to export data, save and view the results of sessions, mechanisms for filtering them by dates and custom ranges. The mobile application is part of the "EEG Waves" system. You must purchase a MINDO device (or BrainBit) to conduct sessions. Detailed information about the system can be found on the official website of the manufacturer.

Verdict

The call

The clearest difference is review sentiment: EEG Waves at 100% against Pulsetto Wellness's 22%. EEG Waves also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 21) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). Pulsetto Wellness's advantage is price (Free vs $24.99) and rating (4.8 vs 2.5). On ads and device support there is nothing between them.

ReceptionRating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings

Pulsetto Wellness holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Pulsetto Wellness has 7.4K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Pulsetto Wellness's written reviews are positive against 100% of EEG Waves's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

UpkeepUpdate frequency

Pulsetto Wellness ships an update weekly, EEG Waves every 12 months. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 6, 2026 respectively.
