ToDoSphere turns your day into something you can see. Every task is a sphere, and its size is the time it takes. A two-hour block is large. A ten-minute errand is small. Put them on one screen and you stop guessing whether your day fits — you can simply look at it. REBUILT FROM THE GROUND UP This version is a complete rewrite. The app opens faster, moves more smoothly, and holds up under a real workload. The idea has not changed. How well it works has. SEE WHAT ACTUALLY FITS A capacity bar shows planned time against the length of your day, so an over-booked day announces itself before you live through it. Set your own day length — nine hours is a default, not a rule. PLAN BY MOVING THINGS AROUND Drag spheres to arrange your day. Push one to the edge to send it to yesterday or tomorrow. Tap a sphere to change its duration, category or notes. COLOUR IS CATEGORY Every sphere takes the colour of its category, always. Rename categories, recolour them, and pick an icon from a wider set — so your day is readable at a glance rather than after reading. KEEP WHAT REPEATS Save a day's tasks as templates and stamp them onto any other day. Mornings that look alike should not be typed out twice. A REMINDER THAT SUITS YOU One daily nudge to plan, at a time you choose, and one switch to turn it off. No stream of alerts for individual tasks. SEE YOUR CONSISTENCY Completed tasks, your planning streak, and where your time actually goes by category — real numbers from your own data, not encouragement invented for you. SIGN IN YOUR WAY Use your email, or sign in with Google or Apple. FREE AND PRO Free covers five tasks a day and one saved template. Pro removes the limits, adds custom categories, and supports the work. Premium is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase, and renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel in your account settings. Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: RoutineFlow at 4.7 against ToDoSphere's 4.0. RoutineFlow also leads on ratings volume (2.4K vs 1) and update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). ToDoSphere's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 60%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. RoutineFlow sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days and ToDoSphere sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
RoutineFlow holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RoutineFlow has 2.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of RoutineFlow's written reviews are positive against 100% of ToDoSphere's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
RoutineFlow ships an update every 5 days, ToDoSphere fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on September 24, 2026 and August 12, 2026 respectively.
