NeuroUX
Read full descriptionHide full description
Traditional randomised controlled trials (RCTs) often do not adequately capture change during treatment, largely due to limitation inherent to RCT methodology. One such limitation is the use of infrequently administered outcome assessments, which do not have the precision to predict or measure outcomes. These measures often do not possess the temporal resolution necessary to assess individual-level change in neurobehavioral symptoms that vary by time and context (e.g., cognitive performance different at home vs. in the clinic). The NeuroUX app is designed to make it easier for researchers to use mobile technologies to study cognitive processes over time, in the “real world.” Our platform is currently being used in several federally-funded studies, including RCTs. The NeuroUX app supports: - Mobile cognitive testing, - Experience sampling - Ecological momentary assessments (EMA; full-length surveys or microEMA methodology) - Investigator dashboard’ with scheduling functionalities and real-time access to data. Why NeuroUX? - Gamified Experience - HIPAA Compliant - Offline Support - Intuitive Interface - Custom Protocols - Flexible Reminders Key cognitive domains assessed: - Attention - Memory - Executive Function - Emotion & Social Cognition - Psychomotor Speed This app is only for use by registered study participants.

Ever wonder whether your mind is as sharp as usual — or if fatigue is quietly slowing you down? CogniTrack gives you an objective answer. Using a scientifically validated reaction time test, you can measure your mental alertness in under a minute and track how it changes throughout the day. HOW IT WORKS When a visual cue appears on screen, tap as fast as you can. Your reaction times reveal how alert and focused you are in the moment — no guesswork, no subjective ratings. The test is powered by the Psychomotor Vigilance Test (PVT), the same method used by NASA, the US military, and sleep researchers worldwide to assess sustained attention and fatigue. SET YOUR PERSONAL BASELINE Start by taking a 10-trial baseline test when you're fully rested — ideally first thing in the morning. This establishes your personal "best" reaction time as a reference point. Then use quick 6-trial checks throughout the day to see how you compare. Are you still sharp after lunch? How about late in the evening? After that extra cup of coffee? Now you'll know for sure. WHAT YOU'LL DISCOVER • How sleep quality affects your next-day performance • The real cognitive cost of staying up late • Whether caffeine, naps, or breaks actually help • Your personal alertness patterns over days and weeks FEATURES • Quick Check — A fast 6-trial test you can do in under 30 seconds • Personal Baseline — Establish and update your rested reference point • Trend Charts — Visualize your alertness patterns over 7, 30, 90 days, or all time • Performance Ratings — Instantly see if you're performing at Superb, Good, Sluggish, or Impaired levels relative to your baseline • Full History — Browse, search, and review every test you've taken • Guest Mode — Let friends or family take a test on your device without affecting your data • Data Export & Import — Back up your records as JSON whenever you want • Privacy First — All data stays on your device. No accounts, no cloud, no tracking. BUILT FOR SELF-AWARENESS CogniTrack is not a game — it's a personal wellness tool designed to help you build self-awareness about your cognitive performance. By making mental alertness measurable, you can make better decisions about rest, work, and daily routines. Note: CogniTrack is a wellness tool, not a medical device. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical condition.
