Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Pocket at every 3 weeks against TutumNet's every 7 months. Pocket also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). TutumNet's advantage is ratings volume (14 vs 1). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for TutumNet against 5.0 for Pocket. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TutumNet has 14 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 100% and 100% positive.
TutumNet ships an update every 7 months, Pocket every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 10, 2026 and June 4, 2026 respectively.
