About

Tacca

Features

Know what your car really burns and what every mile costs. Tacca is a fuel log you pay for once: no subscription, no ads, no account. Free for one vehicle and your first 10 fill-ups, then a single purchase unlocks the rest. Three numbers per fill-up. Type the odometer, the fuel and the total, and Tacca does the math. The form opens ready to type and shows your last odometer reading. Enter the total or the price per gallon, and Tacca works out the other. Prefer trip distance to the odometer? That works too. Consumption, measured properly. Tacca measures from one full tank to the next, the way it should be measured. Topped up halfway? Mark it as partial and the fuel still counts toward the next full tank. Forgot to log a fill-up? Mark the next one as missed and Tacca starts a fresh measurement instead of showing a wrong number. Tap your average to see how it was worked out: the sum over your own fill-ups, every full-to-full stretch, and why a stretch was left out. Your home screen shows: • your average consumption, the last full tank, and whether it got better or worse • what every mile costs you • what you spent on fuel this month • your latest fill-ups Long-press to choose its tiles for each vehicle: this year, your last fill-up, the average fill-up, days since you last filled up. Your units, your currency. Read consumption as MPG, UK MPG, L/100 km or km/L, whichever you choose. Enter miles or kilometers, gallons or liters, in any currency, and see everything in the units and currency you choose. Other currencies are converted at current exchange rates. Cars and motorcycles. Keep as many vehicles as you drive, each with its own units and currency, and switch between them with a tap. Every month, totaled. History groups your fill-ups by month, with distance, fuel and cost for each month and the consumption of every full tank next to it. Search by station or note. Your history stays yours. Tacca syncs through your own iCloud to your other iPhone or iPad. Export a backup or a CSV file whenever you like, and import a Tacca backup or CSV on another device. Sync and export are free for everyone. Just fuel. Tacca does not track servicing, look up fuel prices or record trips by GPS, and it is not made for electric cars. It does one job: your gas and diesel fill-ups, and what they tell you. Pricing, plainly. Tacca is free for one vehicle and 10 fill-ups; history imported from another fuel log does not count. When you reach the limit, nothing is deleted or locked: your history stays, and sync and export keep working. Tacca Unlimited is a one-time purchase that removes both limits. There is no subscription. Your fill-ups live on your device and in your own iCloud. Tacca has no account and no server of its own holding them. Light and dark themes. Available in 21 languages.
