ZenShield

ZenShield is an anti-doomscrolling app for iPhone that sets itself up. Grant Screen Time access once, and ZenShield looks at how you already use your phone and builds a calm plan for the two moments distracted scrolling hurts most: right after you wake up, and in the hours before bed. HOW IT WORKS • Tap "Set this up for me" and allow Screen Time access — that's the only permission ZenShield asks for. • ZenShield shows you what your phone told us, and the plan it built from it. Tap "Turn it on" and Apple's own picker opens so you can confirm which apps to pause — a one-time system step, nothing to type. • Calm mornings — social apps stay off for the first 30 minutes after you wake up. • Night limit — for your first 3 nights, ZenShield only watches. Then it sets your limit for you, about 15 minutes less than you actually use. • The breathing gate — open a paused app during a shielded window and ZenShield asks for one slow, 15-second breath first. Afterward you choose: put the phone down, or give yourself a strict 5 minutes. ZENSHIELD PRO The free version keeps calm mornings, your night limit and the breathing gate at their defaults, always — no trial required. ZenShield Pro adds: • A single switch, "Make it a little stricter each week" — your night limit gets 5 minutes shorter each week, down to 15, while your calm mornings grow the same way, up to 60. • Your own sliders for morning (15–120 min) and night (15–180 min) limits. • Your own wake and bed times, instead of the defaults. 100% ON-DEVICE ZenShield has no account, no server and no analytics. Everything — reading your Screen Time history, building your plan and pausing apps — happens locally on your iPhone through Apple's own Family Controls, Managed Settings and Device Activity frameworks. Nothing about how you use your phone is ever collected, transmitted or seen by us. ZenShield Pro is a 7-day free trial, then $4.99/month or $29.99/year. Subscriptions are billed to your Apple Account and renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel any time in Settings → Apple Account → Subscriptions.
