Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Art Authority Museum at 4.3 against GUCCI's 4.0. GUCCI's advantage is ratings volume (477 vs 6) and review sentiment (62% vs 40%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. GUCCI sells 3 one-off in-app purchases and Art Authority Museum sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
Art Authority Museum holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: GUCCI has 477 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of GUCCI's written reviews are positive against 40% of Art Authority Museum's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
GUCCI ships an update monthly, Art Authority Museum every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
