Verdict
The clearest difference is ads: Coupon24 at none against Walgreens's shown. Coupon24 also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 17.0). Walgreens's advantage is ratings volume (7.4M vs 6.8K) and chart position (#3 vs #205). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.
Scored on Price · Rating · Positive reviews · Number of ratings · Update frequency · Ads · In-app purchases · Monetization · Best chart rank · Devices · Requires iOS
Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Walgreens against 4.9 for Coupon24. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Walgreens has 7.4M ratings behind it against 6.8K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 60% of Walgreens's written reviews are positive against 46% of Coupon24's.
Walgreens ships an update fortnightly, Coupon24 every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
