Every trail is worth keeping. Wildfolio is your personal outdoor journal on iPhone. Save a route before you leave, navigate and record along the way, then bring the route and activity data into your own photos. SAVE ROUTES AND FOLLOW EITHER DIRECTION Import geographic GPX, KML, KMZ and FIT files from Files. Preview and save them in your track library, then follow a track forward or in reverse with position, remaining distance and off-route guidance. Original files are retained, and tracks can be deleted individually. The library stays on device and does not count as completed hikes or stamps. WALK TO A DESTINATION Search for a place and preview a walking route, distance and available estimated time. Follow distance-based instructions such as “Turn right in 50 m,” and request a new route from your current location when needed. You can also open Apple Maps for driving directions. Destination search and walking routes require a network connection and local Apple Maps coverage. RECORD YOUR HIKE Choose hiking, climbing or trail running. Record your route, distance, activity time, speed or pace, and available elevation, ascent and descent. Keep recording with the screen locked or while using another app. Pause, then hold Finish to save. Navigation and recording can be started and stopped independently. EXPLORE THE MAP AND ELEVATION Drag the elevation chart or tap the map to inspect a location and its available elevation. Route segments remain separate, with geographic labels where data is available. Export completed hikes and imported routes as GPX. TURN ROUTES INTO TRAIL PHOTOS Place your route and activity data over your own photo. Move and resize each layer independently, adjust opacity and choose text colors. Save edits to continue later. You can also compose from route screenshots. Hike reports include a map background and key activity data; activity time excludes pauses and interruptions. CHOOSE WHAT YOU SHARE Preview the actual image before sharing. Hide route sections within 200 m, 500 m or 1 km of either endpoint and choose whether to include names, waypoints and times. Originals stay unchanged. Check personal information visible in photos and text before sharing. LOOK BACK ON YOUR JOURNEY Browse totals and find past trips by year, activity or place. Journal entries support repeat visits, private notes and dates remembered only by year or month. Private notes are not automatically added to shared images. PLACES, STAMPS AND DAILY LANDSCAPES Explore 241 destinations, including 149 in China. Read introductions, build a wishlist and collect stamps from visits you record yourself. Enjoy 241 original landscape illustrations. Stamps do not require a location check-in. MAPS AND OFFLINE TERRAIN Choose online standard, satellite, hybrid or terrain map styles. Download elevation terrain for a selected area in advance. Offline terrain does not include roads, place names, satellite imagery or navigation. GPS recording does not need a continuous network connection. OPTIONAL ICLOUD SYNC Choose private iCloud sync with the Apple Account already on your device to keep completed hikes, journals, wishlist and saved photo layouts across devices. The imported track library is not included. Available in Simplified Chinese, English, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, Russian, Portuguese and Arabic. No ads, third-party analytics SDKs or cross-app tracking.

Verdict
The clearest difference is update cadence: Wildfolio at every 3 days against SuperShuttle's every 4 months. Wildfolio also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7). SuperShuttle's advantage is ratings volume (8.3K vs 1) and device support (3 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.
