Verdict
The clearest difference is review sentiment: DroneMobile at 38% against Kia_Dashcam's 0%. DroneMobile also leads on ratings volume (28K vs 1). Kia_Dashcam's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 2 months) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Kia_Dashcam holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DroneMobile has 28K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 38% of DroneMobile's written reviews are positive against 0% of Kia_Dashcam's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
DroneMobile ships an update every 2 months, Kia_Dashcam every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
