Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: Kastkart at 5.0 against Express's 4.5. Kastkart also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 71%) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Express's advantage is ratings volume (23K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.
Kastkart holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Express has 23K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 71% of Express's written reviews are positive against 100% of Kastkart's.
Express ships an update every 9 days, Kastkart every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 23, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
