Verdict
Cracker Barrel and Ruby Rewards both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 83% of Ruby Rewards's written reviews are positive against 36% of Cracker Barrel's. Ruby Rewards also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.6 vs 17.0). Cracker Barrel's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 10 months) and chart position (#131 vs unranked). On price, rating, ratings volume and ads there is nothing between them.
