Never Fully Working
The Cracker Barrel app is okay in that it lets you complete the order generally, but I have never used their app where there wasn’t some type of bug that made it frustrating to use. Some previous examples were with it not accepting gift cards or run-of-the-mill payment option, randomly not allowing me to complete my order via the app for some unexplained reason, and not allowing me to order a piece of cake before 11AM (even though I was getting a prompt to do so). Now the frustration is that it won’t allow me to add extra syrup under the condiments section even though it is clearly one of the selection listed as available for an extra $0.79. It throws up an “Error. Something went wrong!” Message the last few times we’ve order from the app. We do like their food, so I hope they eventually get this app worked out where there’s no bug bugs.

Worst app
Genuinely this is the worst restaurant app.
Can’t update
Very upset.. I have older phone and can’t update the app.. very frustrating that you have to buy a new phone to be able to use the app
App points everything to website
I found very little to no value in this app. It seems everything that I attempted to accomplish, I was pointed to the website (which required me to sign in again). Do yourself a favor- skip the app and sign in once- on the website.
Terrible loading times and user experience
I downloaded the app because the website on my phone was taking forever, however I realized the app is somehow even worse. Location glitching, blank menu screens, or menu item boxes show up but no product image or description. It was so bad I decided the 45 sec loading time website was better to use. 2 weeks ago they had an update, maybe they need to update their team now.

App is broken
Location services dont work & cant select a store, images dont load, etc. Impossible to order. Tried multiple phones, connections, etc. just look at the all the most recent reviews
App not working again today
Very disappointed in the Cracker Barrel App. Again today the app is not working. When it was working it wasn’t working properly and would not let you add any condiments or silverware. Please fix this app. App needs to save user information and payment information to make ordering faster. Cracker Barrel has great food and a wonderful restaurant staff but the app needs an overhaul.

Glitchy App
This app is terrible. Every time I try to place an order it takes me a MINIMUM of 30 minutes. Either I can’t add an item to my cart or it won’t let me check out, etc. EVERY SINGLE TIME.
Requires frequent login
Why is it necessary to get logged out so often?!!!! It’s a food app, not a secret service acct. There is no reason I should have to login in so often.
Just another pretty face
The app looks good, but frequently has errors that have resulted in me losing money on orders that can’t/won’t be fulfilled, are incorrect/incomplete, or charging my card after saying there was an error and no way to fix the issue. Even with contacting customer support, there is no chance for a refund or help to fix the issues it has given me. I do not recommend the app.

We are regular visitors at Cracker Barrel in Elkhart, Indiana. I can’t say enough good things about our server, Kathleen. We request her section whenever we are there for breakfast or lunch. She is attentive during our entire stay and makes sure our order is correct and well prepared.

Can’t track order progress
The app is good for rewards but you can’t track order progress or delivery from the app itself
No Way to Choose Sausage or Bacon as breakfast meat
I love Cracker Barrel breakfast, as do many people. How can they have an app that does not let you choose Bacon or Sausage as your breakfast meat? I have reported this to my local store’s manager. Tried the update and it still does not have that option available.
Ordered Online, food not available
Ordered a meal online thru app. Drove 20 minutes to restaurant and was told item was not available. Had to wait another 15 minutes while second order sat there

app won’t let you add to cart
Fraud
Please do not order from their app. I ordered they charged my card but the order never went thru. Please don’t use it. I tried to call them and they don’t even answer the phone. Tried to contact them via social media the same thing no response. They took my money. Now I have to put a claim on my card. So trouble some. I can’t imagine if someone barely has enough fund. You can get hungry and still lose your money.

The app never works properly when trying to place an order for pick up. Super annoying and has been like this for years
Missed the little things
The app forgets your login after a short period, requiring me to re-login. I guess that is security so thieves don’t steal my phone and race to get some pancakes on me.
Even better, when you do login, it clears your cart - even though it remembered it when I opened the app and it not-so-conveniently logged me out.
You cannot see the password, no eyeball icon.
And it does the classic - sits and stares at you with no indicator as it churns in the background.
The rewards are worthless.
This is a 1 for poor fundamentals.

App not working
This app used to be good. Now it refuses to work. There is an open Cracker Barrel in my town and it refuses to find it to start an order. I cannot order because it doesn’t recognize a store that is near me. And the worst thing is I have an expiring reward to use. I finally deleted it and moved on. Will eat elsewhere where it is not a fight to spend my money.
