Find out in seconds what you are taking home. EDIFICAR NutriScan scans the barcode of food and cosmetic products and shows a score from 0 to 100, with a clear explanation of why. No confusing tables: point your camera and understand right away. What the app does • Scans barcodes and shows the product score in seconds • Explains every additive: what it is, its role in the product and the risks studies point to • Shows nutrients per 100 g with a simple traffic light: low, moderate or high • Suggests better alternatives in the same category, so you can swap with confidence • Works with cosmetics and personal care products too • Keeps your history for later • Available in Portuguese and English How the score works The score combines three factors: the product's nutritional quality, the additives it contains (weighted by each one's risk level) and whether it is organic. Every score comes with an explanation of how we got there — no black box. No sign-up to get started You can scan, search and see scores without creating an account. An account is optional, for keeping your history across devices and contributing new products. Open, collaborative data Information comes from Open Food Facts and Open Beauty Facts, open databases maintained by a worldwide community. Product not found? You can add it yourself with name, composition and photos — and it becomes available to everyone. Important notice Scores are educational estimates calculated from public data. They are not nutritional advice, diagnosis or treatment, and do not replace assessment by a health professional. An EDIFICAR app.
