Verdict
The clearest difference is rating: RA Guide at 4.9 against Secret DJ's 4.0. RA Guide also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 4) and update cadence (every 11 days vs every 4 months). On price, review sentiment, ads and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secret DJ sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. RA Guide asks for nothing beyond the download.
RA Guide holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: RA Guide has 8.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 54% of Secret DJ's written reviews are positive against 52% of RA Guide's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
Secret DJ ships an update every 4 months, RA Guide every 11 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
